Sandy and I toured China for 21 days with 12 other West Point classmates, their families and friends. The trip took us over 4500 miles from: 1 Beijing (highlights: the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and scary Tiananmen Square) through 2 Xi'an (Terra Cotta Soldiers), 3 Hangzhou (cruise of West Lake), 4 Shanghai (the Bund and Shanghai at night), 5 Yichang (3 Gorges Dam), cruising up the Yangtze river to 6 Chonqing (Gen Stilwell Museum), 7 Guilin (Li River cruise) and ending in 8 Hong Kong (some great shopping opportunities).
